Joe Farotte
Joe Farotte works for the Monterey County Department of Social Services (MCDSS) as the Program Manager for CalWORKs Employment Services (CWES). Joe has been with the County for 9 years and has served in leadership roles with the California Association of County Veteran Service Officers, Monterey County Career Technical Education District Advisory Commission, Monterey County Management Council, and the newly established Monterey County Veteran Employee Resource Group. Prior to being recruited by the County, Joe served for 12 years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy and worked in management at Apple Inc. Joe has a B.A. in Mathematics from USD and an M.B.A from UCSD.
Anna-Lisa Leal
My name is Anna-Lisa Leal. I am excited to be part of CEMA negotiations team I have had the pleasure of working for Natividad for the past 17 years. While at Natividad, I have had experience working and overseeing several departments. My experience includes the Emergency department, House Administrative Nurse (HAN), Float Pool, and Forensic Nursing. My primary department is the Mental Health Unit. I have been the Nursing Division manager for the last 7 years. I am a dedicated professional with experience working effectively as part of a team.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married with 4 children, one daughter, and three boys. We enjoy swimming and playing outdoors with the kids. We are blessed and have my parents living with us to help care for our children. We make our time off special by hosting game nights and outdoor movie nights with friends and family.
Sandra Ontiveros
My name is Sandra Ontiveros and I work as a Management Analyst III with the Office of the County Counsel operating as the Office Manager and supervising the Administrative Support division. I am in charge of the Civil Grand Jury Program, I develop and implement procedures and guidelines associated with a 21-attorney law office; manage the Civil Grand Jury Program, including training on all existing and new data systems; act as the liaison with Human Resources for the hiring and separation of employees; and assist the County Counsel on special projects. It is a pleasure to work with a diverse professional group of individuals to reach a common goal in improving the quality and benefits of the workplace. I look forward to building relationships and continuing to represent Monterey County managers with CEMA by our side.
